The Obsidian Fisticators, having travelled up and down the Belserian Empire have encountered many trials and artifacts over the course of several months. Having fought the corrupt spy Krag for Reggie's memories, the Dread Dragon Chafsassis for an Orb of Tehom, the ancient Mummy Lord Ahn Rahk, and the Lich King Tesserin for Garth (and the kingdom's) security, have made enemies and allies. They have lost many members, some, like Torment, through brutal violence, and others, like Reggie, through their own volition upon recognizing their own villainous action.
The Fisticators, in their adventures, set into motion the unsealing of Tiamat, destroying immense whitestone obelisks, and drawing the attention of extraplanar beings like Ahriman, the servant of Tiamat, and the human empire of Belseria. Upon their capture of the Giant Chieftan Nosnra's Keep, the former party member Titus Brightsteel, accompanied by the armies of Belseria and the Bahamen were charged by General Hoo'rahn to deliver another Orb of Tehom to arcane researchers in Grenseri.
The Bahamen, on their mission ran into the Fisticators. Upon discovering that both parties had an Orb, the Orbs were drawn together and confiscated by Titus. Over several days of travelling to Grenseri, being covertly tailed by Mada, Titus, as well as the other Bahamen, fell to temptation, ultimately being killed by the Fisticators in a battle Dusted Path, when his body was dragged by bony claws into the earth.
In communicating to the now expanded Orb of Tehom, Anchor, the Orb Bearer, was offered a deal of salvation he could not refuse, and in doing so swore to deliver the Orbs to Tiamat.
In Avernus, Garth made dozens of pacts with Devils, placing arcane siphons in holy temples, agreeing to deliver orbs, stones, and blood to the volcanic Mount Ignes on the material plane, and trading in souls directly, began to tumble quickly towards evil. This trip to Avernus also saw the temptation and corruption of Reggie Steel, despite the efforts of Zylben Kindling. As Reggie attuned to the Hand of Vecna, the party left Baator to slay Yeenoghu. In the Abyss, they met Torment's sister Virtue, who was there for revenge for the murder of her brother by Ignak, Yeenoghu's Unwalking servant. Working together, they destroyed Yeenoghu and returned to Xioria. In Xioria, having collected another Orb of Tehom from Yeenoghu, they considered what to do. Hoo'rahn persuaded Zylben to assist in the arrest of the Fisticators, which was attempted in Grenseri.
The party dove into Sorrin's Sagery, and paid him to shift the location of his shop, which he did at random, landing them in Waterdeep. The party, discussing their future together, agreed to complete one final adventure before turning themselves in, and agreed to retrieve Orion, an ally of Sorrin, from the Dungeon of the Mad Mage. Upon their return, Reggie agreed to trade the Hand of Vecna for several powerful magical items, including a Ring of Wish. Anchor, under Reggie's instruction, removed the hand under the knowledge that Reggie was attuned to a Ring of Temporal Salvation. Upon the removal of his hand, Reggie's homunculus gave Anchor a magical projection device, which shared his final thoughts.
The party, determined to turn themselves in after hearing Reggie's thoughts on their actions, prepared to teleport to Beryl when Garth teleported, alone, to complete his contracts to Tiamat. The party, for their display of increased responsibility were put under supervision and Geas Chains, stripped of their more dangerous magical items, and sent to retrieve Garth. They chased Garth to Xantion, and scryed on him at Nosra's Keep, which was then under the control of General Sharpe. They saw Garth teleport to a blue obelisk in the deserts of Belseria, to which they teleported to confront Garth.
In confronting him, Garth suddenly was joined by a Yochlol servant of the Spider Queen and a Crystal Dracolich. These were dispatched with the help of Samuel and Pettrick, ally's they made in their pursuit of Garth. They then transported Garth to Beryl to stand trial, when Arhiman himself apparated to defend Garth in the Trial of Garth.
Now, after the release of Tiamat's hordes, the loosely formed party composed of Mada, Orion, Petrick, Samuel, and Lazarus are in search of allies, friends, and firepower to save the world and themselves from Tiamat's return. Paramount to their success is the defense of the White Obelisk in the Eye of Annam in Xantion.
