This perfectly smooth sphere is composed of two halves, one of which seems to consume all light while the other glows brightly.

This sphere will rest upon the user’s head perfectly until it is knocked off.

Charges

This sphere has 1 charge that recharges twice daily at dawn and dusk.

Split Site

As an action, you can place this sphere on your head and say its command word (Abellio!). Doing so will cause one half of the sphere to erupt in 60 feet of sunlight and the other half erupt in 60 feet of magical darkness. As a bonus action you can command the sphere to rotate up to 180 degrees. For the purposes of magical light, these are both 2nd level spell effects. Instead of Concentration saving throws when taking damage you will have to succeed on Dexterity saving throws of the same DC, or the sphere will be knocked off.
