Simple weapon (spear), simple melee weapon, artifact (requires attunement)
The Spire of Bahamut is a sleek, solid, immensely heavy spear cast from platinum. It is believed to be a spiked scale ripped from the Platinum Dragon's back in one of his battles with the Scaled Tyrant. When lifted, it hums with radiant energy and seems to almost float out of the user's hands. For anyone other than the attuned creature, this spear is extraordinarily heavy and impractical to use.
Martial Strength:
The Spire of Bahamut has a +5 bonus to attack and damage rolls. Attacks made against evil aligned creatures deal an additional 2d6 damage. Additionally, this weapon has a thrown range of (30/120) and immediately streaks back to it's wielder after it is thrown.
Sworn and Beholden:
This spear is incredibly heavy to the those who haven't attuned to it, requiring a DC 20 Strength check to be lifted. It will also immediately streak back to it's wielder after it is thrown. This spear has the range of a javelin.
The Spire of Bahamut has 10 charges. You may expend 1 or more charges to cause one of the following effects. The javelin regains 1d8 + 2 charges daily at dawn.
Breath of Bahamut (4 Charges)
A beam of light 5 feet wide and 120 feet long erupts from the spear. Creatures in this line must make a DC 25 Constitution Saving throw. Creatures take 20d6 radiant damage on a failure, or half as much on a success.
Holy Mount (4 Charges)
You summon a Metallic Wyvern loyal to you. This Metallic Wyvern takes its turn immediately after you and obeys your verbal instructions (no action required). If no instruction is given, the Metallic Wyvern takes the dodge action. This property can only sustain 7 Mounts at a time. If this property is used to attempt to summon an 8th mount, the charges are expended and the attempt fails. When a Metallic Wyvern summoned in this way dies, they vanish in a flash of white light.
Grounding Strike (3 Charges)
On a hit, the target must make a DC 25 Strength Saving Throw or fall prone, losing it's fly speed for one minute. The creature can repeat this saving throw at the end of each of it's turns, regaining half of their fly speed on a success. Creatures with a hover speed are immune to this effect.
Shelter the Faithful (1 charge)
As a bonus action, you cast the spell Sanctuary on one good alligned creature within 30 feet. The Saving Throw DC is 25.
