This shield is constructed out of dark wood, with a metal boss in the center, rune etched metal strips covering the front, and an etched iron band running the circumference. While holding this shield you can cast Counterspell at third level. Doing so causes the glyphs to glow and spin before shooting from the shield towards your target. This spell has a DC of 15 and a bonus of +7. This effect cannot be used again until the next dawn.
