The Mother's Wardens are the self appointed druidic protectors of the Emberwood's humaoid inhabitants. They believe that the Luapien Ad'ohnea are vile creatures of darkness, created out of the mud of the Duskcreek. Broken into dozens of Druidic Circles, they are incredibly well organized, regularly rotating camp positions around the borders of the Shimmering Glen and Southern Aspenlind. Their representatives protect the Southern two thirds of the Emberwood both from overt Belserian intervention and Luapien Ad'ohnean infiltration. Their leading circle meets at regular intervals in the shadow of the Everburning Ash, located at the heart of the Emberwood. Across all of the circles of the Mother's Wardens, there are approximately 320 members of varying strengths and specialities.
Arol Telantrielle is the leader of the Mother's Wardens. They have mastered the art of instinctual transformation and bending the powers of nature. Arol Telantrielle has few qualms with protecting the Emberwood through violence, and their skill with militant organization is ruthless and cunning. They also have the ability to assume the form of and command the might of the elemental spirits of nature.
Rehtomere Denarwen is the Oracle of the Dreamwalkers. She has been proven time and time again to possess the gift of prophecy. Ritualistic meditation within the Veil of the Dreamwalkers is necessary for her to access her gifts. As such, she is heavily guarded during her meditation, for fear that her rituals will provoke violence from the Zealothanons, who claim her as one of their disavowed members.
Queen Tatrogi is a reformed and freed Warforged high priest. After retiring due to a Feeblemind spell cast by Reggie Steel, he was discharged from his church and society. Wandering the Emberwood, he was eventually restored by a circle of the Mother's Wardens. He was interrogated, but deemed a useful individual to the Wardens. He is the highest ranking Warden who is NOT a worshiper of The Wildmother, Melora. He instead is a worshiper of Kord, the Storm Lord. He is the High Priest of Foreign Affairs, conducting negotiations with Belseria and Xantion alike in an effort to ease the tensions. Neither side wants a third faction in the war, so both welcome his efforts gladly.
