The Obsidian Fisticators discuss dreams each of them received from Tiamat's prime vizier Ahriman the Osyluth before purchasing potions and plane shifting to a meeting room as requested by Steliad for a private discussion. In the room, Lightbringer removed a book from it's place and, stepping 10 feet away from it, set off 50 explosive glyphs of warding that had been held within the book's pages. Lightbringer and Pettric died instantly. Orion, using absorb elements was knocked out. Mada dodged e v e r y t h i n g. As shadows swarmed the party, Mada fed a potion to Orion, who began reviving his dead comrades. As Lightbringer destroyed the shadows, they began to reel from their fight and started burning healing spells and chugging potions as a simulacrum of Steliad approached. Dispatching the clone, they began to fortify their position for a short rest. Building an ice wall, they managed to complete their rest as two more simulacrums arrived. From there, the party ran through a trapped swimming pool room, pushing through the heavy room where they were met with a Dao, who attempted to crush them all with thousands of pounds of rock. Crashing through the ceiling, they were met with a half dozen pixies. Mada freed one who began to shift into am icy dinosaur and attack before Lightbringer talked him down and had the pixie scout the next room. As the entered the next room, they felt their magic leave them as the room seemed to be filled with the eyes of a torturously dissected beholder, who's anti-magic eye cone filled the space. Several black puddings attacked those who entered the room, damaging the structure of their armor. Barely escaping, having to drag Lightbringer back to the previous room, the group decided to polymorph into Giant Apes and crash through the adjoining wall to the next room, knowing there were creatures in there who had held the door shut when Pettric tried to pull the door in the Beholder room. Crashing through, they were met with three Gaint Apes and a broad, mouthless, dwarf dressed as a pirate with a shimmering silver and white cloak and a large hammer at his side.
